The Innovative Computing and Networking (ICN) group is a joint research initiative co-led by Dr. Zhipeng Cai from Georgia State University and Dr. Daehee Seo from Sangmyung University. The group comprises a vibrant and diverse team of faculty members, postdoctoral researchers, and students from both institutions, working collaboratively to push the boundaries of technological innovation.
ICN is committed to advancing the frontiers of computing, networking, and intelligent data systems. Our research spans a wide range of interdisciplinary topics, including but not limited to distributed and parallel computing, edge and cloud systems, AI-driven networking architectures, data privacy and security, and next-generation communication infrastructures. By combining theoretical foundations with practical applications, we aim to address real-world challenges and design scalable, high-performance, and trustworthy digital systems.
Through active international collaboration, cross-disciplinary partnerships, and a strong emphasis on mentorship and education, ICN fosters an inclusive research environment that cultivates innovation and impact. Our long-term vision is to create a sustainable ecosystem for computing and networking research that empowers the digital transformation of society.
